During the realization of the Sweet, Sweet Home project we will collaborate with partners from all over the world. Basing on their experience, we will implement:
1. Question Thinking as an innovative style of
thinking and business management method developed by the Inquiry Institute in the USA. We will use a philosophy of which a significant element is "thinking with questions". This method in its assumptions takes a holistic approach to the
subject of human health. It’s a view of a person in terms of their physical condition, mental state and well-being and also the way they think. By keeping the balance of these three elements, we will develop motivation for a better and
fulfilling life. Thanks to this method, we can consciously influence the future by thinking about the questions that will most effectively lead us to our goal. This method will also improve non-judgmental listening skills and the ability
to be grateful for suggestions. We will use all of this in the area of managing the Sweet, Sweet Home stuff and developing therapy programs for residents.
2. A Social Firm as a model of employment opportunity
for people with disabilities, triggering a sense of subjectivity and shared responsibility for the place where they work.
While looking for proven solutions in the world, we came across a model of a social company, which was
created in Great Britain. It is a reference model created for the needs of professional activation and inclusion of people with mental health problems in the labour market. Our team has undergone a series of comprehensive training in this
area, conducted by Forth Sector from Edinburgh.
We will use this model of employment, training and running a company in the Sweet, Sweet Home. All this to bring people from disadvantaged groups back to the labour market. We
will create jobs with appropriate planning and implementation of reintegration activities, creating opportunities for employers to develop. Over 90 people: non-disabled and with disabilities will find employment in our teams. They will
work as kitchen, administrative or economic workers. With attention to every detail, we will create a place where employees will feel understood in their disease and its specificity while using their potential in creating and developing
the future of the company.
3. Slow Jogging is a technique of easy running intended for everyone, also for the elderly or for people with mobility limitations. It’s a model of a balanced life, without haste
and tension, which is also an ideal solution for people with mental health problems.
Inspired by the knowledge from the Far East, using the knowledge provided by our partners in Japan, we will spread this discipline and thanks
to it improve the well-being of our residents. As one of the few in Poland, we have qualified instructors in this discipline in our structures.
In the Sweet, Sweet Home, we see other people and see their needs. That is why
we are constantly looking for modern solutions and trying to acquire partners from all over the world to be able to fulfill needs, interests, dreams and help our residents in personal and professional development.
